A PRAYER FOR A WEDDING BY JEANNE D' ARC
Solemnly they take their marriage vows
Kneeling at the altar they entrust their futures to each other.
Lord, protect these children from the cruel, bitter thrust of life that cut the strongest loves in two.

Let their quarrels clear the air and never settle into deep
resentments.

Teach them patience....Grant them love that lasts forever.

Let them learn together how to keep the vows they make so confidently here.

In this troubled world, let them find the strength within each other
and refuge from their fears.

Let them hold love tightly but without the twists of jealousy that burn and smother
Let them LAUGH.... and grant they never lose faith in you
or trust in one another.

FLY FOR MY DAUGHTER BY JEANNE D'ARC
Mommy how high can I fly? Up to the moon, my darling daughter.....You are free to soar....free to swing on a moonbeam and realize your dreams.
Mommy, what if I fall? The wind will be here to catch you, my darling daughter to gather you in a gentle gust and place you back in my arms. Let the night embrace your deepest dreams, my darling daughter....Let stardust take you where it will...Close your eyes.....Don't be afraid to swing high.....Nothing is impossible for you in dreams. Let the morning dew cover you in its mantle of love....sent from Heaven above....Fly, my darling daughter....FLY

SOLILOQUY BY JEANNE D'ARC
Slowly, yet almost imperceptibly
the silent march of daylight quickens
and shortens, casting earlier
and longer shadows over
the parched earth at our feet.

The enervating beat of passive day
pales a little as the slight cooling
breezes of evening bring to us
a small but freshening touch
of softness to our cheeks.

The enormity of puffy white clouds,
delicately fringed and edged with blue
in summer, don a somber cloak
in shades of gray as the days
and months become shorter

A host of small things, afoot and swing,
flurry and scurry in their task of
husbanding, winter resources,
shunning play and with stilled voice,
conforming to God's plan.

Lush green and golden bands in country fields
contrast verdant waves of summer's grain
with rows of luminous stubble
as God puts His earth's great wealth
into Man's hands again.

As the glories of summer's lavish scene
begin to fade, being replaced by the equal splendor of autumn's
warm pastels and cooling nights,
we rejoice and give thanks.

TAPESTRY BY JEANNE D' ARC
Our lives are but a thread
in the tapestry of time
For, the weaving of mankind
is by infinite design

Embroidered in earth's course
and the firmament above
is man's pre-established path
interlaced with God's great love

Each sovereign stitch that's sewn
by the Master-Crafter's hand
is fashioned in the quilt
of His vast, eternal plan

The fabric of our days
is God's handiwork sublime
For, from heaven's sacr3ed loom
stems our slender thread in time___$$s

TEARS -- POETRY BY JEANNE D' ARC
Tears.....
hold back----
Don't rush in now
For, I've people
to care for---
work to be done

Later,
I'll let you
pour forth
with duties over
and no one to see
the sadness
behind the smile
that they think is me

IF -- ORIGINAL POETRY BY JEANNE D'ARC
IF the autumn of life is half as lovely
as the autumn of earth, I shall not
grieve for the vanished days of a
rapturous spring---
Nor beg for one moment of reprieve

I have loved the snows of dandelion and plum
that rivaled the frost-flakes mystic designs,
But, what of a world in crimson and gold
with wild grapes spilling their purple wines

And, if winter shall come? I am content
to leave my life in the hands of a God
whose mind could conceive the autumn of earth
And star it with asters and goldenrod

IN THE DISTANT DEEPS-- BY JEANNE D'ARC
In the distant deeps and hollows of your body
burn the passion of my soul
Your eyes.....as lucid pools of keenest topaz
make me lose all self control

Come, Sweet....feel my throbbing essence--yielding
entered now...e'er more to move

Lurid lips rose red and deep -- now parted
Fierce to meet mine own in love
Soaring, we two to kismet's highest heaven
Rapturous meld --my treasured dove

Protuberant, the silken skin of pointed passion
Breasts--twin hills of joy I see
A well of cool birds rise up to excite me
I am love's slave....your devotee

Quivering --- shaking in the throws of passion's pleasure
Burning fire of stars thrown down
Hewn now --- the sinews of my treasure
Subtle soft skin most renown

There's within my frame, this hammer to the anvil
Furnace fire of raw delight
Wings of most ardent love forever keeping
Now borne aloft on flames of night

Evening passion breathes her whispered song of sweet distraction
Night brings sighs as Moon smiles down
