2018-07-19 Hike to the Ice Chappel - Wanderung zur Eiskapelle - St. Bartholomae - Watzmann\\r\\nEnglish: Come with us to the Ice Chappel below the famous eastwall of Mount Watzmann. We take a ship from Schönau, Berchtesgaden, over Lake Königssee to St. Bartholomae. There we hike through a forest and a stony plateau to the Ice Chappel right below the notorious and famous eastwall of Mount Watzmann and take a look inside of the Ice Chappel. On our way back we take a different trail along stony river bed and then we swim in Lake Königssee before we take the boat back to Schönau.\\r\\nDeutsch: Begleiten Sie uns zur Eiskapelle unterhalb der berühmten Ostwand des Watzmanns. Wir nehmen das Schiff von Schönau am Königssee, Berchtesgaden, hinüber zur Wallfahrtskirche St. Bartholomä. Von dort aus wandern wir durch einen Wald und über ein Gesteinsfeld zur Eiskapelle, die direkt am Fuße der Watzmann Ostwand liegt und gehen hinein. Auf unserem Rückweg nehmen wir eine andere Route entlang eines breiten ausgetrockneten Flussbetts und schwimmen zum Abschluss im Königssee bevor wir das Schiff zurück nach Schönau nehmen.
