Description
Edit 2 for headphones. Norway 1965 footage. Dubbed video, that's obvious, it is just to give a sixties atmosphere... "Cry To Me", from the UK and US album "Out Of Our Heads" 1965. One of the most soulfull sung & played ballads of The Rolling Stones. A precious Stone... stunning real truly great Mick Jagger vocals.
Stunning real great Jones/Richards/Watts/Wyman/Stewart/Nitzsche performance.

Recorded May 12 & 13, 1965.
Guitars: Brian Jones & Keith Richards. Vocals: Mick Jagger. Drums: Charlie Watts. Bass: Bill Wyman. Piano & organ: Ian Stewart (Wikipedia says Jack Nitzsche).

Call me one-sided, but the Stones' version definitely is the best, better than Burke, Harris, Burdon, Petty, Scott...

Source file for the edit was the song on the 1986 remastered release of the album "Out Of Our Heads" Abkco London Records 844 463-2

CRY TO ME
(Written by Bert Russell aka Bert Berns)(first recorded under the production of Bert Berns by Solomon Burke, reaching nr. 5 on the USA R&B charts in 1962.)

when your baby, leaves you all alone
and nobody calls you on the phone
don't you feel like crying
don't you feel like crying like crying like crying
come on baby, cry to me

when you're all alone, in your lonely room
and there's nothing, but the smell of her perfume
don't you like crying
don't you feel like crying like crying like crying
come on baby, come on, cry to me

nothing could be sadder, than a glass of wine alone
loneliness loneliness, it's just a waste of your time
but you don't ever, you don't ever have to walk alone
you'll see, so come on take my hand
come on walk with me

when you're waiting, for a voice to come
in the night and there is no one
don't you feel like crying
don't you feel like crying like crying like crying
come on baby, cry to me

come on, baby, that's right, cry to me
yes, I want you to come on baby
come on come on and cry to me
I want you to come on baby
come on come on ah cry to me
yeah come on baby c'mon I want you to cry cry cry to me
yeah I want you to cry cry cry cry cry cry cry
I want you come on cry cry cry cry cry cry cry cry...
woh, I want you to come on, shed those tears
