We wake up on it, walking
Without realizing
where we got on and when
Happiness is a stop
where we stay for 1 minute
Before we realize it,
it rang, it left, it passed
And pains are stations
Long and never ending
And in spite of us, as if
More and more appear
Burning with impatience
We keep looking ahead
We want to get as quickly as possible
to some station we want
Our days and years pass
Pleasant moments and pains
We live nourished by dreams
And thirsty for pleasures
Many cheerful children climb
Many on the way I met
And every now and then an old man descends
Sad, exhausted by strength
But the time comes
When we too descend
What wouldn't we give then for a moment
To turn back
But as we look back
We mourn the time that has passed
The station of eternity rings
We lived but we didn't know
And the pains are stations
Long as they never end
And in spite of us, as if
More and more appear
Our days and years pass
Holy moments and pains
We live nourished by dreams
