Empty a plastic water bottle and drill 4 holes into it to accommodate to axles. Use 2 plastic straws for the axles and plastic bottle caps for the wheels.
Tape 2 plastic straws to an empty milk carton and attach 4 plastic bottle caps to the 4 ends for the wheels.
To make a balloon-powered toy car, secure a balloon to the flexible end of a straw with a rubber band. Tape the straw to the car and blow into the straw.
To make a rubber band-powered car, wind a rubber band around the front axle of the car. Then, hook the rubber band to a paper clip.
