About Me
Gaurahari das Avadhuta through my own eyes and heart. I have been in touch with the path of Bhakti Yoga since 1971. I became interested out of distress and desperation to look for God’s help in healing after I had a potent kundalini awakening during the time I was experimenting with psychotropic drugs, mescaline and LSD. It left me feeling very weak mentally, physically and I could not find any medical assistance that would help with this problem. When I was healthy and enjoying life without impediments I never gave the conception of God any thought or importance. When I began to pray for God’s help I experienced uncommon increasing miraculous occurrences in my life, the details of which are beyond the scope of this short bio. The first was my personal healing as well as out of the body experiences, visions, and opening of various chakras above the solar plexus which opened up new subtle perceptions and experiences of universal divine love, compassion, mystical rapturous devotional ecstasies and profound revelations in regards Eternal Truths described in various devotional scriptures, poetry of the east and west.
I have been deeply influenced and feel eternally indebted to my initiating Spiritual Master Jesus and his beloved servants for carrying forward and preaching the deep truths found in the bible and the revelations of Jesus. It is by their grace I first learned what is the universal Holy Spirit of love for God and compassion for all mankind. I also feel eternally indebted to my instructing spiritual master AC Bhaktividanta Swami Prabhupada who taught me through his divine books many related confidential lessons in Bhakti Yoga, such as who is the ultimate object of our love and how to develop this rare confidential relationship.
All of our (Temple of the Hearts) spiritual work is accomplished by the blessings, grace of Jesus and under the order of my Shiksha Guru and life and soul A.C. Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada who appeared to me in a lucid Dream in 1996 and ordered me in great bliss to engage in assisting to my capacity to clarify the path of Spontaneous Devotional Love for those who are drawn to come, as inculcated by the teachings, Lila of Lord Caitanya and my personal experiences.
