With the success of their previous games, Electronic Arts have once again created a successful multiplayer shooting game that many are calling one of the best there is. In this game, gamers will once again have the chance to experience what it is like to be a part of an army fighting against an onslaught of computer generated soldiers. The player must use all of his or her skills to outplay the computers in a never-ending war zone and complete objectives while repairing the base and making it possible to deliver supplies to your allies. Here is a brief battlefield 1 review.
With a thickening snowstorm covering the ground in front of your military's position, your squad will need to call upon some of your combat talents to arrive in time to help the others to their feet. Using the assault class to clear the way for the others, you will move through the snow-covered landscape using a vehicle to make your way to your objective. You can choose to either shoot at the enemies or to engage in hand-to-hand combat. Once there, you can use the vehicle's machine gun to take out the troops that were standing around your objective, or you can use the primary weapon to kill anyone who gets too close. There is also the armored troops spawn that provides cover for your soldiers, although you will need to provide your machine gun fire to get over the defense.
Since each level has a specific set of objectives that must be accomplished before moving to the next, they can be anything from "capture the flag" to "escort VIPs to extraction." Moving from one objective to the next is done using a series of vehicles that are available to be used during the course of the mission. Although each multiplayer objective felt like it was very short, I did find that I was satisfied with the completion of each one. When you do reach the end of a mission, you are awarded points based on how well you completed them. These points can then be used to purchase upgrades for your vehicle or to give you more weapons for your arsenal.
Although there were a couple of multiplayer maps that I really wanted to try, like the one in which you control a tank, I felt that I played well enough to move on to the next game. I enjoyed the single player play in battlefield 1, though it can be a bit boring. For instance, in this game you have to guide an ATV through enemy zones to deliver supplies to your base.
