Description
A song from an album I am not too fond off. from the 80's ( Mistrial) with that pop production sound, computer drums and synthesisers. But his poetry makes the album worth my while. like this beautiful love song, a lovesong, an ode to his beloved New York. After all even David Bowie called Lou reed the king of New York. Thsi live version does the song justice. From an Amnesty international tour from 1987. Yes that's Peter Gabriel on piano, ANd Youssou N'Dour on stage as well. On the album the sax solo is played by , yep a synthesiser. Here the sax solo is from Rick Bell, from Peter Gabriel's band. Stunningly beautiful.

She's alright, but Lou is already too cool on his own. He don't need anyone beside him. Not even Peter Gabriel or Youssou N'Dour.
