Jessi is an independent girl with a tomboy attitude that defies much of the ways that her father and mother raised her to be. Although she usually respects her parents’ wishes, she does have a rebellious streak in her that makes it hard for her to turn down a dare or a challenge. Jessi is also a very dedicated individual who will work hard and push herself to the next level in whatever she puts her mind to- from physical health to academics to her hero life.

Although mostly active, there are days where she may actually spend hours on the sofa watching television or a movie when she is too fatigued to do anything of greater value. On most days, however, she likes to stay active and busy and not let anything slow her down.

Currently a member of the next generation of Teen Titans, Jessi aspires to one day live in Atlantis for a time to complete her magical studies and then return to Jump City ASAP!. Although she wants to complete her training, the thought of leaving home to go to Atlantis for an extended period of time can make her become a bit apprehensive. She would rather be on the surface in the world she is more familiar with. She also hopes to go to college one day and major in Athletic Training in order to be an athletic trainer for professional sports teams.

Physically, she has inherited her father’s eyes and her mother’s hair color while the rest of her outer features seem to be more well blended. From a personality view, Jessi has her mother’s fun and energetic nature as well and her father’s loyalty and dedication as well as several traits that she developed all on her own. Jessi would go out of her way at any given time to help others, and would lay down her life for her friends and family without hesitation.

Aside from her two best friends, Shilo Todd and Pheebe West, Jessi has always found herself more comfortable talking and associating with boys. She often feels like she’s more of ”one of the guys” than worrying about whether or not her male friends are secretly attracted to her. In a way, it can make her a bit oblivious, but thus far in her life she has had few offers for a serious relationship. Although she has had her share of childhood crushes, the main two being Ollie Harper and Jason Todd Jr., she never seriously sought to pursue a relationship. That all changed when she discovered that she had strong feelings for a very close childhood friend named Peter Kovar, the son of Red Star and Starfire, whom she had known since a very young age. As a couple, they tend to enjoy going to sporting events, train together, or do things that best friends or normal couples do.
